Roger A. Young, 59, of Tiffin, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, in the emergency room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
Roger was born July 2, 1954, in Youngstown, to Howard W. and Maxine Mae (Heimrich) Young. He married Lisa (Dull) Nov. 6, 1999, in Las Vegas and she survives in Tiffin.
Survivors also include his three children, Danielle Young and Brittany Young, both of Tiffin, and Jason Young of Columbus; five grandchildren, Maliyah and Brenden Young, Grayson Whitaker and Braydon and Ashlyn Young; three brothers, Jack (Robin) Young of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Larry (Lisa) Young and Brad Young, both of Tiffin; and a sister, Renee (Steve) Tiell of Tiffin.
Roger worked at M-TEK, Upper Sandusky, and also worked at Gay Lines Bowling Alley for 15 years. Roger was a 1972 graduate of Seneca East High School. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan, enjoyed bowling and just spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Randy and Howard Young.
His funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, with the Rev. Kishore Kottana officiating. There will be no burial at this time.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
