* Registrations are now being accepted for the Tiffin Football Officials 2014 officiating class. The class is open to anyone 14 years and older. The cost of the class is $90. Upon completion of the class, the official will be eligible to officiate junior high through junior varsity level contests. The first class is July 14 and you must be registered by the first class. WRESTLING: Ohio State wrestling coach Tom Ryan is holding a clinic June 28 at the St. Joseph Activity Center from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. All students grades k-12 are eligible and cost is $45 per student with checks made Payable to Premier Technique wrestling. BASKETBALL: Columbian boys basketball will be hosting its youth camp Monday through Thursday. The session for boys entering fouth-seventh grade will be 9 a.m.-noon at Columbian High School. Cost is $35. The session for boys entering first through third grade will run from 1-3 p.m. at the high school. Cost is $25. All campers get a t-shirt and a basketball. BASEBALL: Tiffin University's baseball team will host a Summer Baseball Camp for ages 7-13 from 9 a.m.-noon June 30-July 3 at TU's Heminger Field, located within the Paradiso Athletic Complex. Registration begins at 8 a.m. June 30. Campers can choose to participate in the entire camp or select individual days. Participants will receive an official camp T-shirt and lunch. VOLLEYBALL: The Black Swamp Volleyball Club will be having skills training in July. Grades six and under will be held Mondays and Fridays from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. and will cost $10 per session. Junior High and up will be held Tuesdays through Thursdays from 6- 8 p.m. and will cost $10 per session. All age groups will be held on Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and will cost $20 per session. OHIO SPRINT SPEEDWEEK: Heavy rain from Wednesday's storm left too much water on the track for the Attica Raceway crew to work through in preparation for the 32nd annual Ohio Sprint Speedweek. Fans who purchased tickets can use the rain checks at any event throughout the year at Attica Raceway Park. The next event will be July 4 for Kear's Speed Shop Presents Fan Appreciation Night. GOLF: Clouse Construction will sponsor the FACT 4-Person Scramble July 13 at Loudon Meadows Golf Course in Fostoria. Shotgun start is at 9:15 a.m with an 8 a.m. registration and is limited to the first 25 teams. There are three divisions that include men, women and co-ed. Cost is $45 per person or $180 per team and includes 18-holes with a cart, lunch, door prizes and hole prizes. Hole-in-one prizes include the chance at a set of Ping irons, an Apple iPad, $500 and $10,000 sponsored by Tiffin Loader Crane.
