Mary Lee was born May 10, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan. She married Martin Vadalabene Aug. 10, 1986, in Troy, Michigan, and he survives in Tiffin.

She also is survived by their three children, Kevin (Shannon) Kay of Kauai, Hawaii, John (Angelika) Hovey of Lake Angelus, Michigan, and Lynae Vadalabene of Columbus; five grandchildren, Kelly and Frances Kay of Kauai, Hawaii, and Jevon, Kaden and Jaelie Hovey of Lake Angelus, Michigan; and three siblings, Dee Lin of Ocoee, Florida, Kathleen Anderson of Byron, Michigan, and Larry O'Neil of Denver, Colorado.

Mary Lee was an interior designer and the propreitor of the Riversedge Bed and Breakfast, Tiffin. She was a member of Tiffin Historic Trust. She was incredibly passionate about her interior design work, family and helping others.

I was incredibly blessed to have had Mary Lee as my best friend and the love of my life for the past 28 years. For this, I will be forever thankful.

Mary Lee has touched many lives and will forever be missed but the memories that her loved ones shared with her will forever remain. She was surrounded by family and friends and was able to celebrate the outpour of love in her life.

A party, in her honor, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Riversedge Bed & Breakfast, Tiffin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tiffin Historic Trust.
