Edith Lucille Vogel, 93, formerly of Berwick and resident at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria, since 2012, died Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Fostoria Community Hospital.
She was born March 1, 1921, in Seneca County, to Charles and Nora (Bloom) Earl. She married Paul Vogel July 7, 1941, in Litchfield, Michigan, and he died Oct. 10, 2013.
Surviving are three daughters, Joanne (Richard) Love of Alvada, Ruth Ann (Larry) Beidelschies of Tiffin and Carol (Dennis) Kimmel of Wharton; two sons, Raymond (Yvonne) Vogel of Fremont and Daryl Vogel of Fostoria; two sisters, Dorothy Margarf of Arcadia and Ethel Peters of Tiffin; two brothers, Paul Earl of Tiffin and Dean Earl of Findlay; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bernice Earl and Sarah Ann Spieldener; two brothers, Ervin and Ray Earl; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Her funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, at St. John's United Church of Christ, Fostoria, with the Rev. David Culp officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, and one hour prior to the funeral Monday at the church.
