Stephen Scott Magers, 63, of Tiffin, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Carlton Manor, Washington Court House.
Stephen was the last born June 25, 1950, in Fremont, to Berdell Jason and Marjorie Alice (Jopp) Magers. He married Karen (Kovacs) April 8, 1995, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church and they later divorced.
Stephen is survived by a son, Andrew Magers, and a daughter, Monica Grant, both of Bellevue; three grandchildren; three brothers, John Magers of Parker, Colorado, B. James Magers of Huntsville, Alabama, and Michael T. Magers of Denver, Colorado; and a sister, Patricia Buskirk of Tiffin.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents.
Stephen retired from Clyde Whirlpool and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was a Old Fort High School graduate.
A memorial service for Stephen will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church, Tiffin. Burial will follow at Green Springs Cemetery.
Following the service and burial the family will meet at Papa Jimmy's for lunch. Any and all friends may join the family for lunch.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church, the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
