Norman Schwochow, 95, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at Arbors at Clyde Nursing Center.
He was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Townsend Township, Sandusky County, to William and Rosa (White) Schwochow. In 1943, he married Pearl Heyman at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde, with the Rev. Frank Jordan officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl; two sons, Gene of Clyde and Stephen of Golden, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Esther (Frank) Wott; and seven brothers, Albert, Burton, Eric, Roy, William, Nelson (his twin) and James.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde.
His funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
