Janis E. Haslinger, 72, of Findlay, passed away at 8:01 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
She was born May 12, 1942, in Tiffin, to Carlton and Cledola (Rumschlaug) Flechtner. She married Michael Haslinger Nov. 7, 1954, and he survives.
Janis also is survived by her children, Kevin, Kristine and Leah, all of Findlay; one brother, Donald (Nancy) Flechtner of Tiffin; in-laws, Judy and Ralph Barrell of Columbus, Gary and Joann Haslinger and Susie and Dale Lauck, all of Findlay, and Katie Felli of Mission Viejo, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, D.J. Felli and Alice and Rupert Haslinger.
Janis was a beloved wife and mother who devoted her life to her family.
Her Mass of christian burial will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Findlay, with Father Jim Brown officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery Columbarium.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay. A rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m.
