Ruth A. Hart, 63, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday evening, June 4, 2014, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born Oct. 4, 1950, to Samuel and Anna (Hushour) Koch. She married John R. Hart Jr. July 22, 1972.
Survivors include her mother, Anna McClintock of Tiffin; husband, John of Tiffin; two children, Brad Hart and Amy (Jeff) Myers, both of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Hanna, Vincent and Olivia; one brother, Larry (Bonnie) Koch of Tiffin; and one sister, Peggy Jacobs of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel; brother, Richard Koch; and her sister, Lynn Renninger.
Ruth graduated from Mohawk High School in 1968 and was a bank teller at National City Bank until she developed multiple sclerosis in 1993. She enjoyed playing cards, going to Amish country and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ruth was a loving wife, mother and "Mawmaw."
Her funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424, with the Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Creek Cemetery, Tiffin.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
