A first-block Hall Street woman reported Wednesday night a man was attempting to get into her residence. The man said he had an emergency and needed to call 911. In the 100 block of Hall Street, a person reported a man went to their residence and said he needed money because his father had a heart attack. Other Hall Street residents also reported the man went to their homes. Police were unable to locate the man in the area.
