A caller reported Wednesday evening they found a one-and-a-half year old walking around Grammes Street and a parent was not around. Childrens' services was contacted. A person told police the child was from a South Washington Street residence. Joseph L. Crawford, 24, of Tiffin, was charged with child endangerment.
A caller reported early Thursday morning four people with backpacks and flashlights were checking car doors on Fairfield Avenue. Police were unable to locate the people.
A caller reported finding a syringe Thursday afternoon in an alley in the 200 block of South Sandusky Street. It was collected by police and disposed of. A needle also was found earlier in the day by an officer in the 100 block of East Market Street. It also was disposed of by police.

Two adults were arrested Wednesday night after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of North Main Street. According to the report, one of the adults fled from the stop and was detained after a short foot pursuit. Jordan L. Settles, 19, of Fostoria, was charged with obstruction, failure to comply and reckless operation and Roman M. Arana, 20, of Fostoria, was charged with resisting arrest Wednesday.
A 911 operator from Illinois reported Wednesday night he received a call from a resident who said her daughter was at a hotel room in the 600 block of Findlay Street and had been assaulted. Jedediah R. Morton, 26, of Fostoria, was charged with abduction and domestic violence.
A 200-block Liberty Street man reported Thursday morning his garage was broken into and several boxes of extension cords were taken.
