REPUBLIC - Republic council members met Monday night for discussion of spring clean-up throughout the village. Trees and bushes are in need of trimming as they are blocking visibility at intersections. Residents are to receive reminders with utility billings that the Ohio Revised Code says trees must be trimmed 10 feet above the sidewalk and grass can be no higher than 6 inches. Village Administrator Crystal Hoepf requested bushes be trimmed to read meters more easily.
