Janet L. Koch, 70, of Tiffin, passed away at 10:16 a.m., Sunday, May 4, 2014, at her residence.
Janet was born Sept. 10, 1943, in Piqua, to the late Doyle and Alberta (Orndorff) Meeds. She married Myron "Mike" Koch in Sidney June 15, 1977, and he survives in Tiffin.
Survivors include her children, Robin (Ed) Jacobs of Tiffin, Cheri (Todd) Giamo of Colorado, Kevin (Annette) Koch of Tiffin and Rhonda (Art) Brubaker of Tiffin; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren on the way. Janet also is survived by two brothers, Jerry Haller of Fostoria and John Haller of Dallas, and a sister, Sue Jackson of Pleasant Hill.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ronnie Haller; and a sister, Sharon Collett.
Janet was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Tiffin Moose and the Seneca Krusers, and she enjoyed her dogs Skipper and Daisy, and just spending time with her family. Janet was a 1961 graduate of Piqua High School.
Funeral services for Janet will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin, with Janelle Veard officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services Friday at Seneca Memory Gardens.
