Phyllis Jean Canterbury

Phyllis Jean Canterbury, 81, of Tiffin, died at 4:58 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2014, at Seneca House, Tiffin.

Phyllis was born Sept. 2, 1932, in Loudonville, to Brice and Iona (Dysinger) Yarman. She married George J. Weber Sr. in 1951 in Mount Vernon, and he died March 5, 1978. She then married Billy Canterbury March 8, 1979, in West Virginia, and he died in September 2006.

Survivors include two sons, George Weber Jr. of Mount Vernon and Greg (Beth) Weber of Tiffin; two daughters, Mary Weber of Athens and Lori (Jim) Henlaut of Middleboro, Mass; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands and a sister, Beverly Butt.

Phyllis was a graduate of North Canton High School, a homemaker and a member of Faith United Methodist Church of Tiffin.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, Mount Vernon, officiated by the Rev. Donna Van Trees. There will be no visitation.
