Bonnie Lou A. Schulz, age 82, of Rossford, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg surrounded by her family.
She was born Oct. 17, 1931, in Toledo to Raymond W. Furry Jr. and Martha (Senkel) Furry.
Bonnie Lou was a 1950 graduate of Rossford High School. She was employed with Penta County Vocational School in food services, retiring in 1992. Bonnie Lou was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she was involved in many groups and activities. She was the creator and member of the longtime Town & Country Bunko Club, a member of the Crazy 8's, she also enjoyed monthly luncheons with the Building Trades Group. Bonnie Lou was a loving mother and grandmother who always put others first and will be dearly missed by all.
Surviving are her children, Paul (Tina/Cheryl) Schulz III, Cynthia (Lance) Davis and Ronald (Katie Dollman-) Schulz; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Kenny) Davis-Porter, Casey (Mike) Stevens, Meredith Schulz, Zachary Schulz and Isaac Schulz. Also surviving are her four great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Jackson Porter and Sophia and Liam Stevens.
Bonnie Lou was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 55 years, Paul R. Schulz Jr. in 2007.
Family and friends may visit from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Toledo, where the family will greet visitors beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
