WRESTLING FUNDRAISER: There will be three events held to help raise money to send some Hopewell-Loudon wrestlers to the Disney duals. There will be a car wash from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Tiffin McDonalds, there will be a bake sale at the Rural King from 11-3 p.m. May 11 and another bake sale from 11-2 p.m. at Wal-Mart May 31.
GOLF: The team of Ken Gooding, Jim Homan, Larry Schalk, Bob Hammer and Howard Elchert finished nine under par to win Bump's Traveling Group, which was held at Fostoria Country Club Tuesday. Next week's outing will be held at Sycamore Springs near Arlington at 10 a.m.

PREP BASEBALL/SOFTBALL: Columbian will host the annual Strike Out Cancer benefit games May 16. Opening ceremonies start at 4:30 p.m. with the games starting at 5 p.m. The school is selling T-shirts, with all profits going to Relay for Life and American Cancer Society in Tiffin. Shirts must be ordered by noon May 8.

YOUTH FOOTBALL: Chieftain Youth Football will hold an informational meeting Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the basement of Bascom United Church. This meeting is for any Hopewell-Loudon parent who has a child for the 2014-15 school year who would like to attend a flag football camp for third and fourth graders or a child in fifth or sixth grade who would like to play tackle football. FUNDRAISER: St. Wendelin Catholic School's Mohawk Club will hold a spaghetti dinner May 18 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The dinner is to raise funds for future projects benefiting the student athletes and Athletic Department. The dinner will consist of homemade spaghetti, breadsticks, dessert and a drink. Adult tickets (ages 14+) are $8 and child tickets (ages 13 and under) are $6. They can be purchased from any student athlete or at either the parish or school office. Tickets will also be sold after all Masses at St. Wendelin Parish the weekend of May 3-4. MUD RUN: The P.M. Gilmor Community Park in Fort Seneca will host a 5K Mud Run on June 7. There will be an adult race at 10:30 a.m. and a kids race at noon.
