Yarn Club to meet

BELLEVUE The Bellevue Public Library is to host Yarn Club at 7 p.m. May 6.

The program is for beginning or experienced people interested in knitting, crocheting or sewing.

Children book club to meet May 8

BELLEVUE - The Bellevue Public Library's Rappin' Readers are to meet at 4:30 p.m. May 8.

Youth in grades nine through 12 are to discuss "Flora and Ulysses" by Kate DiCamillo.

Pizza and drinks are to be available.

Early literacy program at T-SPL

The junior department at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host "Every Child Ready to Read @ Your Library" 6:15-7 p.m. May 8.

The workshop is to present the five early literacy practices to encourage reading. The topic for May is Fun with Words.

The program is for parents, caregivers and children ages 2-5.

Civil War films featured at T-SPL

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library and the American Civil War Museum of Ohio are partnering to host a classic Civil War film series beginning at 1 p.m. May 10 in the junior home room.

Workshop features essential oils

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to present "Essential Oils: Stay healthy All Year," at 6:30 p.m. May 15 in the Frost Kalnow room.

Bev Martin is to teach participants how to use essential oils in nutrition, exercise, rest and managing stress.

Lego Saturday on tap

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host "Lego Saturday" 1-3 p.m. May 17 in the Frost Kalnow room.

Library seeking program help

The junior department at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is in search of volunteers to help with the summer reading program, "Fizz, Boom, Read."

Volunteers, going into the seventh through 12th grades, are to be asked to work two hours once a week Monday through Saturday.

Participants are to help to register children in the program and give out prizes.

There is to be an information meeting at 3:30 p.m. May 22 in the Frost Kalnow room.

Adult book club to meet May 15

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library's adult book discussion group, "Coffee by the Book: Book Group at the Wick" is to meet at 6 p.m. May 15 at Bailiwicks Coffee Co., 62 S. Washington St.

The title to be discussed is "The Lowland" by Jhumpa Lahiri. Copies are available at the information desk.

Gaming time for teens at T-SPL

The teen department at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host "Teen Gaming Time" 6-7:30 p.m. May 12 in the Frost Kalnow room.

Teens in grades six through 12 are to bring their own PlayStation 2 games and board games. The library is to provide games like Guitar Hero and Dance Party.

Refreshments are to be provided.

New titles at MCL

SYCAMORE - The Mohawk Community Library is to introduce new non-fiction and fiction titles from authors Camilla Saulsbury, Sara Benson, Gary Williams, Maeve Binchy, David Baldacci, Andrew Gross, Nora Roberts, Laura Griffin and Amanda Quick.
