Hayes Center welcomes back Easter egg roll

FREMONT - The White House Easter egg roll traces its roots to Fremont, when President Rutherford B. Hayes started the family tradition in 1878. Hayes let it be known children from nearby neighborhoods could gather on the White House lawn at Easter to play traditional holiday games.
