Anna Rose Nichols, 91, of Fostoria, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Fostoria Promedica Hospital.
She was born May 3, 1922, in Fremont, to John and Lalia (Kline) Lewis. She married LeRoy H. Nichols Aug. 16, 1942, in Fostoria, and he died Sept. 9, 2011.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Smith of Grosse Pointe, Mich., and Linda (Joe) VanTassel of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Richard Lewis of Tiffin; a stepbrother, John Post of Findlay; a stepsister, Marge Green of Findlay; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert William Nichols; two sisters, Virginia Foltz and Donna Youngston; and two stepsisters, Pat Crawford and Mary Roose.
Her memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Fostoria. The Rev. Michael Malcosky will be officiating.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 21, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
