John ‘Jack’ P. Huffman

John "Jack" P. Huffman, 80, of Chicago, formerly of Tiffin, died Saturday, March 29, 2014.

He was born May 21, 1933, in Tiffin to the late Eugene and Doris (Palmer) Huffman of Tiffin. He married Delores in Chicago and she survives.

Survivors also include three sons, John, Donald and Robert; a daughter, Carol; three grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie Frankart and Kathleen Gifford; and brother Patrick Huffman.

Jack was also preceded in death by brothers, Jim, Jerry, Michael and Daniel Huffman; and sisters ,Mary Lou Crider and Marilyn Zoeller.

Jack was a 1952 graduate of Calvert High School and a graduate of Alexian Brothers School of Nursing. Jack worked as a nurse anesthetist in the Chicago area. He also served his country and is a US Air Force veteran. After retirement, Jack enjoyed visiting family and friends and the study of genealogy.

His funeral mass was April 2, 2014, at St. Alphonsus Church in Chicago.

In celebration of Jack's life ,family and friends may attend a memorial mass Saturday, May 10, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, Ohio.
