Linda M. Main of Tiffin passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee.
She was born Feb. 5, 1955, in Tiffin, to Norbert and Leora (Bowers) Scherger. She married David F. Main Nov. 21, 1981, in Tiffin, and he survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include her mother, Mrs. Leora Scherger of Tiffin; a daughter, Angela (Mark) Fitch of Tiffin; a son, Andrew Main of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Cory, Marcus, Maddison, Paige, Layla and Liam; two brothers, Norbert (Gayle) Scherger and Dennis (Carol) Scherger, both of Tiffin; and four sisters, Sue (Mark) Baum and Chris (Richard) Welter, both of Tiffin, Darlene (Roger) Rucker of Columbus and Tina (Jim) Mira of Fort Seneca.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Tiffin, Tiffin Chapter No. 189 Order of the Eastern Stars, and Freemasons Riding Club Ladies' Auxiliary. Linda had worked at Autumnwood Care Center as a state nursing assistant since 1981. She enjoyed going for rides with her husband on his motorcycle and camping. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Her funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at St. John's United Church of Christ, 10 Main St., Tiffin, with the Rev. Pam Easterday officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville, and one hour before her funeral Monday at the church. Eastern Star services will be conducted at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
