MOHAWK SUMMER SPORTS: Sign up for the 2014 Mohawk district summer baseball and softball league for players and coaches is March 1 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the high school cafeteria. Students in Melmore, McCutchenville or Sycamore currently in kindergarten through eighth grade interested in playing can sign up at this time. Teams will be formed for boys little league, girls softball and junior pony leagues. Payment is requested at time of signup. You will also be asked to complete your child's emergency medical form at time of sign up. If you cannot attend one of the sign up days, medical forms are available at the school office. Players who sign up after March 15 will pay a $10 late fee. Those who cannot attend may mail their form and payment to P.O. Box 196, McCutchenville, Ohio 44844. BASEBALL: Sign ups for Green Springs Baseball (Council Chambers) are March 4 from 6-8 p.m., and March 16 from 10- a.m.-noon at the Fireman's Breakfast. Costs are $25 for T-Ball (age 4-5) and Minor Leagues (6-7), and $50 for A, B and C teams (8-12). Ages are as of April 30. A family will be charged a maximum of $90.
