The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to close Monday in honor of President's Day.

The library is to re-open Tuesday with regular hours.

T-SPL to participate in eBook program

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to participate in the 2014 Big Library Read program.

Library card holders are going to be able to download eBook and audiobook versions of the book "Keys to the Kitchen" by Aida Mollenkamp Monday through

March 5.

Library directors to meet

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library's Board of Directors is to meet at noon Tuesday in the Junior Home Room.

T-SPL receives grant for senior programming

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library's Senior Citizen Outreach program has received a grant of $6,000 from the Allen Eiry Fund of the Columbus Foundation.

This is the 28th consecutive year Allen Eiry has donated money to the library for its original programming for senior citizens throughout the county.

Janet Kimmet, the library's seniors program coordinator, presents new programs every month geared toward themes of remembering the past. Presentations are designed to rekindle memories and encourage sharing about bygone days, as well as to entertain and educate through visual displays, music, poetry, stories, trivia games and crafts.

MCL to feature dance party

SYCAMORE The Mohawk Community Library is to host a Just Dance party at 7 p.m. Friday.

Snacks are to be provided.

Next date for Family Fun Night set

SYCAMORE The Mohawk Community Library's next Family Fun Night is to be at 6 p.m. Feb. 24.

The theme for the event is "Safari."

New titles at MCL

SYCAMORE Mohawk Community Library is to introduce new non-fiction titles into circulation from authors including Jonathan Bailor, Ian K. Smith, Mark Phelps, Solomon Northup, Amy Ellis, Rocco DiSpirits, Tony Dungy, Robert M. Gates and Rick Warren.

Bellevue Library to feature eMedia course

BELLEVUE Bellevue Public Library is to feature a "Downloading eMedia" course at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 27.

The course is a review of the library's eMedia site, how to borrow and download titles, and how to request titles not yet available.

Poet and artist to speak at Clyde library

CLYDE Lylanne Musselman, award winning poet and artist, is to talk on "Getting Started with Creative Writing" at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at Clyde Public Library.

Musselman is to talk about how to get started writing, the genres of creative writing, poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, memoir, and drama, and how workshops work.

Musselman is to also read some of her poems and take questions from the audience.

Intro to Facebook course featured at Bellevue Library

BELLEVUE The Bellevue Public Library is to have an "Introduction to Facebook" course at 10 a.m. Feb. 24.

The course is to demonstrate how to use Facebook. Patrons are to have an account and bring their username and password.

Magazine service to be offered at Bellevue

BELLEVUE The Bellevue Public Library is to now offer the Zinio digital magazine service.

Zinio is the world's largest newstand, offering CLEVNET patrons access to 120 publications.

Patrons can access the service through the library's website at www.bellevue.lib.oh.us.

An example of some of the titles offered are Us Weekly, Taste of Home, Girls' Life, Reader's Digest, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, ESPN, Scholastic Parent & Child, and Truck Trend.

There are no limits on loan periods or titles download.
