Dorotha A. Lininger

Dorotha A. Lininger, 92, of Sycamore, died Tuesday Feb.11, 2014, at Fairhaven Health Care Community, Upper Sandusky.

She was born May 6, 1921, in Wyandot County, to Ora B. and Gladys R. (Walton) McClain. She married Paul E. Lininger Jan. 9, 1939, and he preceded her in death Jan. 7, 2014.

She is survived by six daughters and three sons, Suzanne Miller of Upper Sandusky, P. Edward (Reda) Lininger and David (Beth) Lininger, both of Sycamore, Judith (John) Jacoby of McComb, Joe Lininger and Linda Passet, both of Sycamore, Rebecca (Thomas) Roush of Nevada, Sandra Gross of Florida and Cynthia (Mike) Margraf of Sycamore; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Jean Miller of Upper Sandusky, Mary Powers of Bucyrus, Ann Conrad of Upper Sandusky and Carolyn Bogard of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, James, Robert and Jerry McClain.

Her funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Bringman Clark Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the 4-H Endowment Fund, Trinity Evangelical Building Fund, Hospice of Wyandot County or the charity of the donor's choice in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home, 226 E. Wyandot Ave., Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
