Ivan J. Garman, 85, of Bellevue, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in Fort Myers, Fla.
He was born May 21, 1928, in Cleveland, to Ivan O. and Dorothy (Dymond) Garman. He married Theresa J. Fields May 7, 1948, and she survives him.
Also surviving are three children, Deborah Kae (William) Houle of Clyde, Gary Ivan Garman of Apache Junction, Ariz., and David Eugene (Darleen) Garman of Bellevue; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Louis (Artie) Garman of Sandusky, Evelyn Ferguson of Norwalk, Harold (Luci) Garman of Sandusky, Dale (Linda) Garman of Bellevue and Donald (Barbara) Garman of Bucyrus.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dorothy Strecker.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue.
His funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 209 Southwest St., Bellevue, with the Rev. Juli Lejman-Guy officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue City Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, Fish and Loaves or a charity of the donor's choice.
