Darla R. (Freeland) Corbin, 58, of Attica, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at Cleveland Clinic.
She was born Nov. 6, 1955, in Willard, to the late Robert and F. Lucille (Zellers) Freeland. Darla worked at Pepperidge Farms until retiring in 2010. She was a member of Christian Alliance Church and enjoyed quilting, stamping, shopping, spending time with her family and "road trips."
Darla is survived by her husband, F. Thomas Corbin, whom she married June 13, 1986; two daughters, Summer M. (Jonathon Link) Barnett of Alliance and Heather L. (Michael) Skidmore of Attica; a stepson, Scot T. Corbin of Port Clinton; nine grandchildren, Madeline and Caroline Barnett, Alex Link, Hayden and Jarrett Patton, Jacob, Kristina and Caleb Skidmore and Andrew Corbin; a brother, Robert (Joyce) Freeland of Norwalk; a sister, Patricia (Glenn) Dalton of O'Fallon, Ill.; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Her funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Christian Alliance Church, Willard, with Pastor James Trainer, of the church, officiating. Burial will follow at Attica-Venice Township Cemetery, Attica.
Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin St., Attica.
