Carey police are searching for a suspect of a gas station robbery reported Saturday afternoon.
According to a release from the Carey Police Department, the robbery was reported at 12:49 p.m. at Shell Gasoline near the intersection of US 23 and SH 15.
The suspect, described as a young, white male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches and weighing between 140 and 150 pounds, had presented a note which threatened the cashier and demanded money. No weapons were observed during the robbery, according to the release, and the amount of money taken is unknown.

After leaving the store on foot, the male then entered a dark-colored vehicle that was at a nearby McDonald's. The vehicle was last seen southbound on South Vance Street approaching the intersection of US 23 and SH 15, the release states.
According to the release, the male also was described as clean-shaven and wearing a gray Nike hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, dark pants and dark running shoes.
