BLE/GED orientation set

The next orientation for Sentinel Career and Technology Center's ABLE/GED program is at 9 a.m. Wednesday or at 5:30 Feb. 19 in room 244 of the Family Learning Center.

Sessions are two-hours.

Class times are 9-11:30 a.m. and 5:30-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Clyde music update

CLYDE Students from Clyde High School Music Department performed at the Ohio Music Education Association's District II Solo & Ensemble Competition Jan. 18.

Receiving superior ratings for solo performances were Clara Sewell, Rachel Peters, Mathew Gerber, Greg Koviak, Isaac Moore, Briana Hergesheimer, Allison Ross, Christina Schmidt and Janelle Belcher.

Receiving superior ratings for ensemble performances were Brittany Miller Mathew Gerber, Greg Koviak, Natasha Huffman, Alexis Willis, Jacob Roach, Sam Billings, Kelsey Hansen, Andrea Nearhood, Savannah Dean. For Vocal Ensemble, Ashley Whitaker, Rachel Peters, Michaela McCowan, Clara Sewell, Brendan Leibengood and Brooke Ameling. For Woodwind Trio, Samantha Tornow, Emily Langenfelder and Allison Ross. For Clarinet Quintet, DJ Stanley, Emma Steinbauer, Kelsey Hansen, Andrea Nearhood and Samantha Tornow. For Percussion Trio Kelli DeVanna, Erica Gonzales and Tyler Leibengood.

Receiving excellent ratings for solo performances were Jess Gonzales, Brittany Miller, Mia Kardotzke, Breanna Wetzel, Madison Cook, Kelli DeVanna, Jonathan Lewis, Erica Gonzales, Samantha Tornow, Averi Kid, Leah Swick, David Murphy, Zane Tolbert, Addie Martin and Emilly Langenfelder.

Receiving excellent ratings for ensemble performances were Alexis Schmidt, Nolan Rosan, Tyler Leibengood and Christina Schmidt.

Receiving good ratings for slolo performances were Erica Gonzales, Chloe McKee, Krista Watson and Connor Rettenmund.

Performing in Festival Class was Chelsey Weiker.

Tiffin Charitable to offer scholarships

The Tiffin Charitable Foundation Inc. is to offer several scholarships to graduating seniors.
