Frank A. Ziegler

Frank A. Ziegler, 70, of Willard, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Mercy Hospital of Willard.

He was born July 11, 1943, in Bloomville, to the late Raymond and Mabel (Funk) Ziegler. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War and worked in the tire industry for many years, including Maxie Tire and Ziegler Tire. He was a member of the former First Presbyterian Church, Willard, where he was very active and a member of the Willard Elks. He enjoyed gardening, watching sports and his true love was fishing at Rice Lake, Canada.

Mr. Ziegler is survived by his wife, Royanna (Cunningham) Ziegler, whom he married Dec. 16, 1967; daughter, Cathy (Timothy) Hill of Beavercreek; son, Adam (Noelle) Ziegler of Columbus; five grandchildren; three brothers, Paul (Susan) Ziegler of Bloomville, George (Charlene) Ziegler of Piedmont, S.C., and Carl Ziegler of Bloomville; and a sister, Martha Ziegler of Tiffin.

His funeral will begin at noon Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin St., Attica. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville.
