A Tiffin man was arrested Thursday night after he allegedly held his girlfriend at knifepoint in Wyandot County.
Kyle W. Jenkins, 25, was arrested after law enforcement pulled over his vehicle near US 224 and SR 100 just before midnight, according to police reports.
The Seneca County Sheriff's Office had received a report around 11:30 p.m. from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office that Jenkins had forced his girlfriend into a vehicle at knife point in Upper Sandusky and may have been on his way to his East CR 16 residence.
The caller who reported the incident to the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office also said Jenkins and the woman were intoxicated and Jenkins had dragged the woman by her hair.
Jenkins has been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and illegal conveyance of a weapon. The Upper Sandusky Police Department advised the Seneca County Sheriff's Office no felony abduction charges were to be filed against Jenkins, but he was not allowed back at a residence.
