Ireta A. Dentinger

Ireta A. Dentinger, 80, of Bloomville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Seneca House in Tiffin.

She was born Feb. 8, 1933, on the family farm in Bloom Township, to Albert J. and Cora E. (Broede) Dentinger.

Ireta attended grade 1 and grade 2 at Lykens School and grades 3-12 at Bloomville School, graduating in 1951.

She worked as a secretary at Dellinger's Hay, Straw and Wool office for 4 1/2 years. She then was the school secretary from 1956 to 1969 for Bloomville Schools and then continued with Tiffin City Schools. After working a total of 41 years, she retired in 1997.

Survivors include several cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1940 and her father in 1983.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville, with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
