Robert A. Willman

Robert A. Willman, 75, of St. Stephen, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Elmwood at the Shawhan in Tiffin surrounded by his family.

He was born July 21, 1938, in St. Stephen to the late Alois and Margareta (Hofmann) Willman. Mr. Willman was a graduate of Attica High School, class of 1956, served in the National Guard and worked at R.R. Donnelley. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and enjoyed playing euchre and ran the St. Stephen Cemetery for many years. Mr. Willman loved everything about trains including riding them and was an avid collector and history buff.

Mr. Willman is survived by his wife, Donna Jean (Walliser) Willman, whom he married July 31, 1965; son, Tim (Barb) Willman of Tiffin; four daughters, Glenna (Brice) Bowman of Newark, Shelia Willman of Columbus, Angie (Chaz) Boes of Tiffin and Juli (Nick) Huston of Tiffin; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Natalie, Valerie, Elizabeth, Andrew, Shawn, Alec and Cecilia; special friend, Joe Omlor of St. Stephen; a brother, George (Alice) Willman of Shelby; and sister, Mary Teresa Burns of Tiffin; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

His Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at the St. Stephen Chapel, Our Lady of Hope Parish, with Fr. Paul A. Fahrbach conducting the Mass. Burial will be in the St. Stephen Cemetery.

Friends may call Monday 3-7 p.m. at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, The rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church through the funeral home.
