A man is being sought for allegedly pulling a gun on a woman during an argument in Tiffin Sunday afternoon.
Joshua J. Hayes, 23, whose address is unknown, had not been located Sunday evening.
According to a Tiffin Police Department report, officers were dispatched to 7 Miami St. for a report of a man who pulled a gun on a woman. The woman said Hayes pointed a handgun at her and threatened to shoot her, it states.
Hayes got into an older burgundy-colored car and left the scene, the report states.
"He was gone before we arrived," Officer Corey Galyk said.
Hayes will be charged with aggravated menacing when he is found, Galyk said. Aggravated menacing is a first-degree misdemeanor with a maximum possible penalty of six months imprisonment and a $1,000 fine, according to the police department.
The police department had not located the gun and the motive was under investigation Sunday evening.
Galyk said he did not believe Hayes is a threat to the public.
Officers also were at the residence Saturday afternoon after a woman reported someone had broken a window into her house. People were warned for disorderly conduct, according to the police department.
