Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment (F.A.C.T.) of Seneca County has received a grant from the White Family Charitable Fund, Tiffin Charitable Foundation, for transportation assistance. F.A.C.T. is dedicated to assisting residents of Seneca County who have been diagnosed with cancer to pay medical and transportation expenses not covered by insurance.
The agency consists of an all-volunteer board, and all monies received go directly to the residents of Seneca County.
When F.A.C.T. was formed in 1992, it served 48 clients. Today, it serves more than 400 clients, receiving an average of two or three applications for assistance per week.
