REPUBLIC - A person was injured when a semi and trailer overturned on East SR 162, east of Republic, Sunday evening.
A State Highway Patrol spokesman said the driver sustained a minor injury and was taken to Mercy Tiffin Hospital. The man said U.S. Express, the trucking company, identified it as a Dollar General trailer, and he believed it was hauling general merchandise.
There was to be traffic control on SR 162 provided by Ohio Department of Transportation and Republic Fire Department until about 5 a.m. today. The contents of the trailer needed to be removed, and the vehicle needed to be righted.

The accident was reported at 8:55 p.m. Sunday, a Seneca County Sheriff's Office spokesman said.
Personnel from Republic fire and EMS responded to the scene.
