Mildred C. "Millie" Kodor, 93 of Fostoria, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at her home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1920, in Ware, Mass., to John and Sophia (Furgal) Wozniak. She married Frank M. Kodor Sr. Oct. 13, 1945, at Immaculate Conception Church, Port Clinton, and he died April 18, 1991.
Surviving are two children, Frank (Barb) Kodor and Jane (Randy) Hunker, both of Fostoria; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, Kim Hamilton and Mark Griffin; six stepgreat-grandchildren; three brothers, Alfred (Rosalind) Wozniak of Port Clinton, Edwin (Lois) Wozniak of Pemberville and Adolph Wozniak of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and two sisters, Cecelia (Jim) Case of Las Vegas and Lillian (David) Capko of Port Clinton.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John and Frederick "Fritz" Wozniak; twin infant siblings; and a sister-in-law, Dolores Wonzniak.
Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, where a Christian wake service will begin at 4:45 p.m.
Her Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. Committal prayers will follow at the Veteran's Memorial Chapel of Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Cemetery, Fostoria. A rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Wendelin's Youth Group or a charity of the donor's choice.
