Esther L. Kuebler, 95, of Tiffin, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at St. Francis Home of Tiffin.
Esther was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Tiffin, to Pius and Lucy (Arend) Warnement. She married Edmund Kuebler June 1, 1946, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, and he died June 24, 1968.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph (Elyse Kay) Kuebler of St. Marys, Tony (Judy) Kuebler of Tiffin and Stephen (Lesa) Kuebler of Hilliard; two daughters, Jean Walker of Indianapolis, Ind., and Barbara (Walter) Neikirk of Tiffin; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Justin, Howard, Marion and Cecil Warnement; and four sisters, Olive Smith, Catherine Vogel, Ruth Ring and Virginia Ring.
Esther was a graduate of Calvert High School. She worked as a switchboard operator at Mercy Tiffin Hospital, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a volunteer at Mercy Tiffin Hospital, an avid bridge player and a member of the Rosary Altar Society.
Visitation will be 12-1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at St. Francis Home Chapel, Tiffin, and then 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-3113. A wake service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 23 at the funeral home followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, with the Revs. Dan Ring and Joseph Szybka con-celebrating. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin.
