Feed & Seed planned for Fridays at chaplain?corps' new building
The Seneca County Chaplain Corps plans to host "Feed & Seed," a free meal followed by a Bible study.
The Feed & Seed is set for every Friday at 6 p.m. at the new chaplain corps building, 3484 S. TR 151.

Christmas at the keyboard
BELLEVUE - Pianist Ryan Neal and vocal and instrumental soloists are to present an afternoon of favorite Christmas music at 4 p.m. Sunday at Immaculate Conception Church, 321 E. Center St., Bellevue. Admission is free.

Music for the season on tap
The choirs of Heidelberg, a chamber orchestra and guests soloists are to perform excerpts from Handel's "Messiah" at 3 p.m. Dec. 8 at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St.
The first half of the concert is to include holiday music from the choirs and chamber winds, followed by a sing-along. The cost is $10 for general admission, $8 for senior citizens and $6 for students.

Travel 'From Nazareth to
Bethlehem' at live Nativity
Rediscover the wonder of Christmas with a visit to a live Nativity 6:30-8 p.m. Dec. 8 on the St. Francis Campus in Tiffin. The walk-through features costumed characters and live animals.
Visitors should park behind the St. Francis Home, 200 St. Francis Ave. A guide is to meet visitors to begin the journey to the Christ Child. Along the way, meet John the Baptist, shepherds and angels, the innkeeper and the Magi before reaching the Nativity scene.
Refreshments are to be served at the end of the journey. There is no admission charge. Donations are to be accepted and used to support the local homeless.
The live Nativity is being presented with the assistance of Tiffin-area youth and other volunteers.
Volunteers needed for Dec. 20 giveaway at St. Vincent dePaul
St. Vincent dePaul is to conduct its Christmas giveaway noon-3 p.m. Dec. 20 in the recreation room of St. Mary School. Volunteers are needed for set up at 6 p.m. Dec. 19 and for the distribution.

Spiritual events planned
at Our Lady of Consolation
CAREY - Our Lady of Consolation in Carey has planned some events in the coming weeks, starting with the Carey Ecumenical Christmas Concert at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in the basilica.
The OLC Retreat House has scheduled its annual family retreat for Dec. 13-15, beginning Friday evening and ending Sunday at noon. The retreat is open to all types of families with food and activities for people of all ages.
Shrine volunteers, under the direction of Father Paul Faroh, are sponsoring a candy and bake sale 4-8 p.m. Dec. 14 and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 15 in the information booth across from the basilica on Clay St. Unbaked frozen pies and pizzas are available, as well as handmade candy, noodles, potato chips and baked goods.
Proceeds from the sale are to be divided between the needs of Filipino Typhoon survivors and Syrian refugees fleeing into Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan. Money will be distributed through Catholic Relief Services to provide families with care, food, education, and counseling.
