Helen M. Depinet, 74, of Bloomville, passed away Wednesday evening, Nov. 20, 2013, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born May 5, 1939, in Crawford County, to Arthur and Bertha (Smith) Niedermier. She married Joseph V. Depinet Aug. 29, 1959, in New Washington, and he preceded her in death Feb. 5, 2002.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Shirley) Depinet of Republic, Daniel (Bonnie) Depinet of Sycamore and Donald (Connie) Depinet of Bloomville; two daughters, Mrs. Jan (Steven) Runion of Findlay and Mrs. Rose (Allan) Foss of Wexford, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; six brothers, Urban (Charlene) Niedermier, Richard (Jane) Niedermier, Francis (Phyllis) Niedermier and Stephen Niedermier, all of New Washington, Louis (Geraldine) Niedermier of Tiro, and Leonard (Penny) Niedermier of Bucyrus; three sisters, Mrs. Anna (Donald) Friday of Mount Gilean, Mrs. Mary (Charles) Heefner of New Washington and Mrs. Alice (Joseph) Ulicki of Huron.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Carl Depinet.
Helen was a homemaker and also helped her sons with farming. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Attica, and a 1957 graduate of New Washington High School.
Her Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Attica, with the Rev. Paul A. Fahrbach and the Rev. Robert Depinet officiating. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Attica. The rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, FACT or to a charity of the donor's choice.
