Horse racing changes discussed

November 14, 2013
By Bonnie Daniel - Correspondent , The Advertiser-Tribune

Janie Weller, secretary/treasurer of North Central Ohio Horseracing Circuit, addressed members of the Seneca County Agricultural Society Tuesday night about the changes Ohio wants to make in the racing process. She represents Attica, Mount Gilead, Hancock, Logan and Seneca county fairs. The state wants to eliminate the circuits and create four quadrants of the state called conferences. Not all fairs are in agreement with the changes and further discussions will follow.
