Delta D. Holbrook, 40, of Tiffin, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 11, 2013, at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
She was born Oct. 17, 1973, in Tiffin, to Virgil and Ruth (Webb) Holbrook. She married Ralph Shackelford and he survives.
Also surviving are her parents, Virgil and Ruth of Tiffin; two sisters, Tracy (Larry) Hemminger of New Riegel and Donna (Kevin) Mitsch of Tiffin; a nephew, Levy; twin nieces, Spencer and Hunter; a stepson, Jamie Shackelford of Findlay; a stepdaughter, Chelsea Shackelford of Clyde; and one grandchild, Jayden.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy and Gaylord Webb and Velta Hart; her uncle, Billy Holbrook; and her two dogs, Daisy and Winston.
Delta graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1992, from Sandusky School of Practical Nursing, with honors, in 1994 and in 1997 with a medical assistant degree. She worked at Brookdale Sterling House, Findlay, and enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos and loved animals.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at First Church of the Nazarene, Tiffin, with the Rev. John Wildman officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin.
