FREMONT - The Hayes Presidential Center's Internet Genealogy II class, scheduled 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hayes Library, is intended to improve people's Internet genealogy research.
Becky Hill, head librarian and experienced genealogist, is to lead the class. She is to explain how to make the most of paid-subscription sites such as Ancestry.com, HeritageQuest, Fold3.com, NewEnglandAncestors.org and Archives.com. Learn the tricks of how to search efficiently and print out and share what you have found.
Hill also plans to offer tips on making the best use of the time spent searching these databases. The Hayes Library provides free access to all of these subscription sites with its series of public-use
computers in its reading room.
The cost for the class is $10 for adults and $5 for students through high school.
