Robert H. Dauch

Robert H. Dauch, 89, of Clyde, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at Bellevue Care Center.

He was born April 25, 1924, in Huron County. He served in the Ohio National Guard. He married Marilyn Keegan Feb. 17, 1947, and she survives.

Also surviving are four children, Theodore (Debbie) Dauch of Clyde, Bonnie (Otto) Kromer of Sandusky, Linda (Ron) Goretzki of Castalia and Benny (Lynette) Dauch of Tippecanoe; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Wayne Dauch of Clyde, Paul (Marylou) Dauch of Bellevue and Charles Dauch of Clyde.

Mr. Dauch was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre Dauch and Grace (Camp) Dauch-Warner; a son, Gary Dauch, killed in Vietnam Nov. 1, 1968; a sister, Amelia Keegan; and an infant granddaughter.

Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. today, Nov. 12, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde.

His funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Parkhurst Cemetery, Clyde.

Memorials may be made to Townsend Ruritan Club or Back to the Wild.
