LEIPSIC - Tyler Jettinghoff ran for a pair of first-half scores to help Delphos St. John's gain some breathing room Saturday as the eighth-seeded Jays upset Leipsic 33-18 in the Division VII regional quarterfinals.

Tight defense, long run fuel Red Devils
FREMONT - The defense held Fremont St. Joe in check, and the long run all but sealed the win.
Arlington held the third-seeded Crimson Streaks to 175 yards of offense and got a 99-yard TD sprint by Austin Rettig with 7:56 to play Saturday on the way to a 14-0 Division VII regional quarterfinal win Saturday.
The win sets up a semifinal between upset victors Saturday, with the sixth-seeded Red Devils (8-3) facing seventh-seeded Hicksville (7-4), which beat McComb 28-21.
Arlington snapped a scoreless tie midway through the third quarter on Andrew Hunter's 30-yard TD strike to John Solt. That play was set up by Jared Green's interception of a Kyle Veleba pass.
St. Joe looked to tie the game in the fourth quarter, marching from its 14 to the Arlington 23 in 12 plays.
A holding call pushed the Crimson Streaks back to the 32, but a perfect punt pinned the Red Devils at the 1.
At least until Rettig got the handoff. He finished with 215 yards on 29 carries.
Marcus Kerr's 20 rushes for 101 yards led St. Joe.
