Marlene Kay Comer, 66, of Tiffin, passed away Friday afternoon, Nov. 1, 2013, at Toledo Hospital.
She was born Oct. 4, 1947, in Tiffin, to Cecil and Leota (Cooley) Agerter. She married Terry Comer Feb. 14, 1970, and he survives. They celebrated more than 43 years together.
Also surviving is a son, Chris (Vickie) Comer, and a daughter, Cassie (Anthonie Hernandez) Smith, both of Tiffin; two sisters, Nancy (Charles) Perry and Karen (Don) Hager, both of Tiffin; four grandchildren, Chase Comer, and Brady, Quinton and Cameren Smith; and her dog, Bruce.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard A. Agerter.
Marlene was a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God and graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1966. For years, she sold Avon around the area and volunteered in the cafeteria at Washington Elementary School while her grandchildren were students. Marlene enjoyed sports and was a Tiger Woods, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She loved her grandchildren and attended all of their sporting events over the years. Early on, she also bowled in Tiffin for years.

There will be no service or burial at this time.
