Mobile dental clinic coming

Persons with income at or below 300 percent of the federal poverty guidelines, with or without dental insurance can use the Smile Express mobile dental office Nov. 14 at Faith United Methodist Church, 75 N. Sandusky St.

The Smile Express is equipped with licensed dentists and dental hygienists to provide dental cleanings, X-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings, extractions and dentures.

The Dental Center of Northwest Ohio is a non-profit agency that includes professional oral health care, community education and outreach and advocacy for underserved populations. The Dental Center supports two clinics in Toledo and one clinic in Findlay, as well as the Smile Express.

Most dental insurances, including Medicaid and Medicaid HMOs, are accepted. Reduced fees are available for people without dental insurance. Uninsured children can be seen for $25 per appointment. Uninsured adults are charged a reduced fee.
