Anna F. Pflieger

Anna F. Pflieger, 78, of Republic and formerly Willard, passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born Aug. 4, 1935, in Floyd County, Ky., to Hack and Doratha (Moore) Moore. She was an employee with Pioneer Rubber Co., Willard, for 38 years. She was a member of Willard VFW, American Legion, Eagles and Tiro United Baptist Church.

She is surived by one sister, Marie Moore; her two sons, Dwayne (Aleta) Lykins of Republic and Joseph (Layne) Pflieger of Los Angeles, Calif.; two granddaughters, Cecilia M. and Liliana W. Pflieger; three stepgranddaughters Heather, Amanda and Leah; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, Brennan, Alexis, Drew and Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Pflieger, whom she married in 1971; parents, Hack and Doratha Moore; one sister, Ina Mae Kooken; and one brother, Jimmy Moore.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Secor Funeral Home, Willard.

Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, with the Rev. Merlin Dye officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Willard.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky.
