A historical marker is to be dedicated to Nettie Cronise-Lutes and Florence Cronise at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at Courthouse Square.
The women were the first to be admitted to the Ohio State Bar.
Local and statewide dignitaries are expected to participate, including Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor, Ohio State Bar Association President Jonathan Hollingsworth, Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz and Seneca County Commissioner Holly Stacy.
The Courthouse Square ceremony will be the culmination of the day's events.
