Wendell Lee Joseph, 80, of Bellevue, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at The Willows of Bellevue.
He was born Sept 22, 1933, in Bellevue, to Kenneth E. and Rena Mae (Stark) Joseph. He married Clara Mae (Moyer) Joseph Oct. 7, 1950, at Fireside, and she survives in Bellevue.
He also is survived by three sons, Thomas L. (Rhonda) Joseph and Paul A. (Jeanette) Joseph, both of Bellevue, and Roger A. (Margo) Joseph of Avon; two daughters, Linda D. (John Shumway) Siesel of Bellevue and Susan M. (Brian) Pickens of Evansville; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lynn (Karen) Joseph of Port Clinton; and four sisters, Helen Dendinger of Bellevue, Katherine (Homer) Greer of Murphy, N.C., Thelma (John) Gaspar of Los Angeles and Ethel (Harold) Smallwood of French Creek, W.Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kenneth, Forrest and Howard Joseph; and a sister, Althea Whiteman.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at Zion United Church of Christ (Fireside), 13525 TR 178, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Fireside Cemetery.
