Anna Mary Osborn, 93, of New Riegel, died at 8:29 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.
She was born in Big Spring Township, Seneca County, Aug. 4, 1920, to John and Josephine (Theis) Feck.
She married Rolla Burney Osborn Dec. 31, 1945, and he preceded her in death June 14, 1968.
Surviving are five children, Daniel J. Osborn, California, Kathleen M. Frasure, Carey and David N. (Mollie) Osborn, Janis M. (Robert) Reinhart and Robert G. (Nancy) Osborn, all of Fostoria; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; daughter-in-law, Cleo P. Osborn, Tiffin; a sister-in-law, Dora Feck; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding her in death was a son, James R. Osborn; a grandson, David Frasure; seven brothers, Albert, Edward, Joseph, Peter, Herman, Robert and Norbert Feck; and two sisters, Rose Gruss and Mary Ann Lafountain.
Anna was a 1938 graduate of New Riegel High School. She was a homemaker and worked various jobs around the New Riegel area.
She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown.
Anna loved her family and church. She enjoyed hand embroidery, hand quilting, making hand-loomed rag rugs, putting jigsaw puzzles together, traveling on tour groups, especially Las Vegas, and "Hen Night" on Thursdays at her home for many years.
Friends and family will be received from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, where a scripture service will be held at 7:45 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at All Saints Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown, with Father Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Frenchtown.
