James B. "Jimmy" Lonsway, 79, formerly of Carey, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Upper Sandusky.
He was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Carey, to C. Raymond and Eulalia R. (Lamberjack) Lonsway.
Surviving are a sister, Mildred E. Franz of Upper Sandusky; a brother, Paul (Alice) Lonsway of Findlay; a brother in-law, Ralph Pratt of Carey; a sister in-law, JoAnn Lonsway of Maumee; and many nieces and nephews and several special friends.
Preceding him in death are two brothers, R.W. "Bill" and Eugene Lonsway; and a sister, Rosemary Pratt.
Friends will be received 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation with the Rev. John Stowe OFM Conv. officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Carey.
